
Michael Calvello is the Club Director. He has been involved in the sport for over 4 decades.
For 25 years, he was the Head Varsity coach at Broadalbin-Perth where his teams won numerous league and division titles. His 2014 team were State Runners-up and in 2015 were State Semi-Finalists.
In 2019, he founded the Fulmont Volleyball Club with several area coaches.
After retiring from teaching in 2019, Mike became the assistant coach at Fulton-Montogomery Community College. Among his proudest team achievements was the opportunity to coach 2 All-Americans along with several All-Tournament, All-Regional and All-Conference players.

Cassi leads the 13U - 14U team for Fulmont Volleyball Club, where she has been coaching since its establishment in 2019. Prior to joining Fulmont, she coached at Sacandaga Volleyball Club in 2018. She has also coached at Mayfield High School, serving as the modified coach. Throughout her coaching career, Cassi has experience working with athletes of various ages, adapting her coaching approach to meet the needs of different teams.
Cassi's volleyball journey began at the age of 13, amassing over two decades of experience in the sport.
She excelled at Mayfield High School, progressing from modified to varsity, where she captained her team to two sectional titles. Starting in 8th grade, Cassi continued to compete at the club level with Caroga Lake Volleyball Club throughout her high school years. In college, she played volleyball at both the Junior collegiate level for FMCC and at the D3 level for Elmira College and Utica University.
Cassi is also the Mohonasen CSD modified coach, furthering her commitment to developing young athletes and their love for the game.
Beyond her involvement in volleyball, Cassi holds a Doctorate in Physical Therapy specializing in pediatrics and adults with disabilities.

Aireana is coaching the Fulmont Volleyball Club’s 18U team. She is very excited to begin her 5th club season coaching this group of athletes.
Aireana played for Gloversville High School from 7th through 12th grade and competed at the club level beginning in 9th grade. After high school, she continued her volleyball career at the collegiate level, playing for Fulton-Montgomery Community College for two years.
Her passion for the game has naturally grown into a passion for coaching. Outside of Fulmont, she coached modified volleyball at Johnstown High School in the 2025 season. This year she’s excited to be coaching both the JV and Varsity teams at Gloversville High School alongside a fellow coach.
Outside of volleyball, Aireana works as a veterinary assistant at a local veterinary clinic and working toward becoming a licensed veterinary technician. Whether she’s in the clinic or on the volleyball court, she loves helping others grow, learn, and succeed.

Olivia is in her third year of coaching with Fulmont and is the coach of the 17U Team.
Olivia has loved volleyball since the 7th grade. She played at Broadalbin-Perth throughout her middle and high school career, under the guidance of Michael Calvello for over six years, and reached the state championships in her sophomore year.
She began her club volleyball journey at 14 with Caroga Lake Volleyball Club, later joining Sacandaga Volleyball Club with her school teammates, and eventually played for Northeast Thunder Volleyball Club during her junior year of high school.
Olivia was recruited to play at the Division III level for SUNY Delhi and later returned to Fulton Montgomery Community College to play volleyball for the 2019-2020 season.

Katie joined the Fulmont Volleyball Club in the 2025-26 Season and is thrilled to be coaching the 15U Team.
Katie began playing volleyball at age 14 at Fonda Fultonville. She was a captain in both her Junior and Senior years and was the WAC MVP Defensive Player of the year in her senior year. Katie played Caroga Lake Volleyball from 10th-12th grade and went on to play Division 3 volleyball at SUNY Oswego.
Beyond volleyball, Katie has a Masters Degree in Social Work and a coaching minor. She is also a certified Strength and Conditioning Coach through NSCA. Katie believes that athletes are people first and values a combination of mindset work, and communication, alongside skill building.
